Contraindications
Viral, fungal and bacterial infections are an absolute contraindication to permanent makeup treatment.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Diabetes – does not exclude the possibility of permanent make-up, but restricts the conditions that must be met before the procedure. Due to the greater tendency to infection and difficult wound healing in diabetic patients, we perform the procedure only after prior consultation with a doctor. The procedure can be performed only when the patient obtains a positive opinion from the doctor and protects his body against infection with appropriate drugs.
Cancer diseases do not exclude the possibility of permanent makeup. However, for the procedure, the patient must have a positive opinion from the doctor and good blood test results. The procedure cannot be performed with a low leukocyte count. However, it should be remembered that chemotherapy patients are more susceptible to infections, have poorer wound healing and may have a poorer absorption of the pigment in the skin.
Blood thinning medications – minor bleeding may occur more easily during the procedure. Inform the linergist about the medications you take so that she can decide what technique to use to apply makeup and whether the procedure is possible at all. Use of antibiotics.
Steroid drugs – external and internal use of steroid drugs is an absolute contraindication to permanent makeup. If you have used external steroid medications, e.g. ointments or gels, you should wait 6 to 12 weeks before applying permanent makeup. If you have used steroid medications internally, you must wait 6 to 12 months before undergoing permanent makeup treatment.
Eyelash and eyebrow growth conditioners. Before undergoing permanent makeup treatment, stop using the preparation and wait 1 to 3 months.
False eyelashes – before permanent eye makeup treatment, they must be removed.
Facial injections with hyaluronic acid. Permanent lip makeup treatment can be performed only 4 weeks after filling the lips with hyaluronic acid.
Botox – permanent makeup treatment can be performed 4 weeks after facial injection with Botox. The Botox must take full effect and the facial muscles should align naturally under the influence of gravity. If you perform the treatment before Botox takes effect, permanent makeup may fail – it will simply be crooked and asymmetrical, after the facial muscles are arranged differently than before the treatment.
Psoriasis, ichthyosis. The pigment at the site of the lesions may not be accepted. Therefore, the disease is not a contraindication, but it does create a risk of failure during the procedure.
Eyelid surgery or face lift. If you have undergone plastic surgery: facelift or eyelid surgery, you can perform permanent makeup treatment only after 6 to 12 months, depending on the opinion of the attending physician.
Fresh scars after surgery. Medical pigmentation of the scar can only be performed after the scar has completely healed, i.e. after a minimum of 1 year.
Body tan. We perform permanent makeup only on natural skin, because the appropriate selection of dyes is not possible when you have a strong tan.
Planned holidays in full sun. Remember that after permanent makeup treatment, you should not sunbathe for at least 2 weeks. Have you planned your treatment just before going on a sunny holiday? For the safety of your beauty, postpone this treatment.
Conditions after eye surgery, less than 3 months after surgery.
Tendency to inflammation of the conjunctiva and retinal detachment. Frequent viral herpes
Active eye diseases.
Mental disorders.
Excessive and unrealistic expectations regarding the effects of the treatment.
