Pristine condition, gold, mesh Duramesh ladies’ wallet. Circa 1950s and stored by my mother for decades untouched. New without tags, stunning and gorgeous! A statement piece for cocktail parties and evening soirées. Comes with a dust bag stamped with “Duramesh Fifth Avenue” label. Black fabric interior with a snap closure compartment, a flat card holder, and a bill section. No musty odors, it’s a treasure! Gold Duramesh ladies’ wallets and purses were predominantly manufactured in New York City and the USA during the 1930s through the 1950s. The mesh material was also famously used as a supplier for iconic designers like Whiting and Davis, with many of these vintage evening accessories branded later as “Duramesh Fifth Avenue”.
