This is a beautifully tailored vintage 50's - early 60's herringbone wool pencil skirt. By Evan Picone New York. Size XXS - 24 1/2" waist. 100% wool. Charcoal gray and white fine herringbone weave. Narrow waistband with hook and eye closure. Belt loops. Waist darts for a shapely fit. Two welted front pockets with arrowhead embroidered tacks - so unusual and striking! Pencil straight cut. Side metal zip. Back kick pleat. The back/seat area is lined with woven-in stripe silky fabric possibly rayon? Such a classic, tailored look - always in style!
